It all began with a need.

Hallie Hope Kraft and Grady James Tiffenback were the two children that inspired me to found Walk With You; the first two "seeds" planted, if you will. Together with their parents, we've been able to cultivate and care for Hallie's and Grady's legacies and create an organization that supports the tangible needs of bereaved parents. By walking with Hallie's parents in 2020 through her hospital stay, organ donation, funeral service, and the equipping of our community to support them, I began to see how families truly need guidance and advocacy during the initial days and weeks following their child's death. By caring for Grady in 2021 and walking with his parents during his hospital stay, reconnecting months after he died, and listening to them speak on ways they wish they had had support, and frankly, regrets they had from trying to navigate his end-of-life and funeral planning process on their own, I began to see how families typically are inundated with decisions and are desperate for organized support in the initial days and weeks following their child's death.

No family should face these moments alone, and yet, families were blindly navigating such final and difficult decisions alone. This was a problem. Nothing existed to formally support grieving families in these initial days and weeks following their child's death, and something needed to be done. Walk With You is that something, that someone, that can tangibly walk with families through all of these moments, ensuring that they have guidance, advocacy, and support. It's all because of Hallie and Grady.

Grady’s Story

Hallie’s Story

Walk With You exists to bridge the gap in support that exists between the healthcare setting and the ongoing journey of grieving the death of a child.

Walk With You aims to advocate for families navigating the death of a child to ensure families can honor their child’s life in a way that leaves no room for regrets.

Grief does not discriminate. No matter who you are, grief becomes a part of your story. We believe that no family should have to navigate child loss alone - we will Walk With You.
